Solumbra Medical Devices

In preparation for a SCUBA diving trip to Indonesia, I bought myself a big staw hat.... quite a nice one with a nice shape to it, as straw hats go.

This is not just any hat. This is a medical device! Part of a line of "30+ SPF Sun Protective Clothing.

No wonder it costs $57.95 plus tax.

You may have noticed it's been awhile since I last posted here.

It took Solumbra to shake me from my almost year long hybernation....

You see, when I buy something, I enjoy reading about my purchase to find out how smart I am to have picked what it is that I picked.

This hat has a label that touts this hat's protective ability versus other things I always thought gave me total sun protection... like a polo shirt for example. Turns out this hat is 4x better.

Anyway, all was well until I read the following under the Headline CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND USE.

Let me quote here, " Solubra clothing should protect you from acute sun-induced skin damage, but it cannot reverse the damage already done to your skin from overexposure."

You just can't make this shit up!!

Are their lawyers really worried that someone thinks they are buying a "magic" hat.

That is a riot!!

Makes me feel like writing them a letter of complaint stating that I still have sun-caused wrinkles from wearing their hat and demanding to know what they are going to do about it!

Well, is there something a little weird going on here? I don't know about you Fugnutz, but my blog gets pretty cluttered with spammy comments from people. My advice to you as one blog owner to another, is to be patient and focus on the great things about having a blog, instead of all the junk that goes on. You do have a quality blog and appears that you enjoy it. My favorite web project so far is a spf clothing site, because I have total control and it makes me a couple dollars here and there. It's pretty hard to find new information on spf clothing stuff though. Hey, keep up your excellent job Fugnutz, and good luck with your projects..

See ya ~

Great post Fugnutz, without blogs like yours I would be miserable and bored. My recent injury has me cooped up at home, so it's always lucky to find a gem like your blog here to keep me amused. My spf rashguards website is getting better but it's hard to find information on spf rashguards stuff, so I like learning from quality blogs like yours because it helps me in my web projects. You do a sweat job my friend. I'll be bookmarking your site in a special place. Will probably tell a friend too.

Nice work ~

Fugnutz, I need a little inspiration... I've read your post 'Solumbra Medical Devices', I enjoyed it so I decided to comment. I've been thinking about my blog and how there are all these people posting strange comments there. Maybe you understand, I'm not sure, but it's tiring to read the numbers of comments that don't have much to do with my stuff. My normal spf rashguards website never suffers this because it just sells spf rashguards and isn't a blog. Do you have any ideas for how to stop the cluttering of non-relevant comments? Thanks for your great blog. Tips are always welcome...

good day -

Hi Fugnutz,
I have to say that your blog hits the spot!
I was out looking for information on child spf protection but found your post: Solumbra Medical Devices to be far more interesting than what I was looking for. Quite a good job you're doing on your site here... I'm thinking about making a blog about child spf protection I want to make it look like yours here. If you have any tips or secrets maybe you could share :)

It was great to visit your blog, thanks.

Hello: Fugnutz, I was looking for some information on website placement and found your site. I'm sure you know how it is when you start to read a interesting post…most time you just have to read it all. Bottom line, I've enjoyed reading your Blog. I’ve got you bookmarked for the future. I'm doing a little test to see how many people actually read these posts. So, for the next few weeks anyone who visits my Blog, I'll send a great 90+ page search engine optimization ebook! Yes, this is a not strings attached deal. Well, I’m off again in search of the info I seek . Thanks for the read!
